How does Destiny IT calculate charges ?
We charge on a per line basis at a rate of 12 cents per line. Discounts are given for clear dictation, higher volume, and high use of templates. Initially, all clients are charged the standard price. After two months of testing the quality of dictation and seeing the volume, rates will be readjusted down and a refund given. If the quality of dictation is poor, rates could increase. There are no penalties for low amounts of transcription.
2. What is the definition of a Destiny MT line ?
A line is 65 characters including spaces.

What is the line-counting software used by Destiny MT ?
Character counting is done with MS Word on the final copy of the transcription. Lines are calculated by dividing the total character count by 65 and rounding up to the nearest line.

Is there a setup fee ?
There is no charge.
